An April wedding at RAC Woodcote Park in glorious sunshine. What could be finer?

The RAC is an elegant club near Epsom and offers superb facilities and a sublime golf course.

While Katie was getting ready upstairs, Chris made sure that the Ushers had their button holes, checked the dining room, and organised transport to the church.

I knew the couple well from their engagement shoot in London so they weren’t put off at all by the camera. I think there is so much going on at a wedding anyway, it is quite hard to distract the couple from their friends and relations all vying to chat to them.

The church was a short drive away, and the vicar was very approachable and relaxed, and the choir added ‘weight and harmony’ to the guests singing the hymns.

There was more singing back at the RAC Club as the mother of the groom belongs to a choir and so everyone was entertained with more contemporary numbers during the champagne reception.
