Autumn Wedding Photography at the Lansdowne Club in London

The Lansdowne Club, founded in 1763 is one of the more elegant venues in Mayfair, situated on the bottom south western corner of Berkeley Square.

The day began with portrait photography of the bride and bridesmaids, taking in the quiet spaces and corners that caught my eye and had good autumn light, which was coming in from the windows.

The wedding service itself was held in the large downstairs ballroom, with the traditional service from the Registrar, an exchange of rings and readings.

The drinks reception kept the guests refreshed and comfortable while the family wedding photography was completed at a brisk pace in the lobby. This allowed the happy couple to re-join their friends and family before gathering in the ballroom once again for the wedding breakfast. A fun series of speeches followed, then cake cutting and the first dance.
