London Wedding at Stationers’ Hall for Narissa & Jonathan

Narissa very wisely chose the Club Quarters Hotel for her bridal preparation as it literally overlooks the courtyard of Stationers Hall, so keeping an eye on guests arriving was as easy as it was entertaining.

The weather was glorious and Stationers’ Hall is a magnificent venue for a civil ceremony. There are three distinct areas for guests to enjoy – the room set for the service itself, a leafy courtyard for the drinks reception and an ornate dining hall for the wedding breakfast, complete with ceremonial banners and flags suspended from the ceiling and huge stain glass windows celebrating the lives of eminent people in the world of literature and print/paper making.

Narissa and Johnathan had a service and sunny drinks reception in the courtyard before settling down to the important business of the day – the wedding breakfast, speeches and first dance. Guests had arrived from all over the world to celebrate with the couple and the party was still going strong when I left, fuelled I can’t help feeling by the shot bar next to the dance floor.
