Jewish Wedding Photographed at Syon
I have been shooting at Syon Park now for over ten years and it is still one of my favourite venues for a service and reception. For the first time however for me, the service was held on the lawns behind the Great Conservatory. A Chuppah was set up for Sam and Nadia for the Jewish Ceremony and the service was lead by Rabbi Black from Kenton Shul. The singing was truly excellent and the open sided marquee kept everyone shaded and with a good view of the proceedings.
The drinks reception too was held on the lawn while I worked my way through the family photographs and some shots of the couple by the lake and landscaped gardens of the park.
Everyone was called through for dinner and had some seriously energetic Israeli dancing before the starters, the band were an incredible fusion of klesme and rock, and Sam was spared no quarter by his friends.
We had some great speeches, more dancing and of course the Benching before the evening party began. I was kept busy with the many elements of a Jewish wedding to photograph and capture.
