The sun shone down on the picturesque village of Castle Combe in Wiltshire, voted the ‘Prettiest Village in England’. Amelia prepared for her wedding day at the beautiful and truly ancient Sheldon Manor House nearby. There was very much a military feel to the day as many ushers wore uniform, the band of the Blues and Royals played on the village square and there was a Sword of Honour exit for the couple from the church itself, before climbing into a vintage Lagonda to take them back to the Manor.
The sunshine allowed for drinks on the lawn, and the guests could enjoy the warm weather and excellent canapés and mingle while the band played on. Many watched the family photographs being taken and of course took their own souvenir pictures.
The marquee was attractively set within a walled garden. After a superb wedding breakfast the guests had great music and danced till the early hours.
