The Royal Hospital in Chelsea is home to the world famous Chelsea Pensioners, ex-servicemen resplendent in the bright scarlet dress uniforms.
It is also one of London's premier wedding venues. The Royal Hospital Chelsea was founded in 1682 by King Charles II to provide soldiers with a fitting home in their retirement.
The building is one of the most photogenic and recognizable facades in the world, and makes a wonderful backdrop to wedding photographs, as does its beautiful chapel, and splendid colonnades. Our clients often treasure the photographs where a Chelsea Pensioner has wandered into shot.
