The spiritual home of Fleet Street, this historical London street that was home to the British newspaper Industry, the Wren designed St Bride's Church is a magical space in which the beauty of its Architecture and its place in history enrich each other. Completed in 1703, its 226 foot, wedding cake spire dominates the surrounding area. When sunlight shines in through the large windows the interior gains a special luminous quality.
The beauty of the building, its lovely natural light, and the fact that we can photograph the wedding service from almost any angle, safely tucked out of sight in the organ loft, makes St Bride's Church one of our very favourite places for wedding photographic assignments. And being in the heart of London, within a whisker of the many splendid restaurants of Covent Garden, makes it equally popular with wedding parties.
